not be a stop on the tour? Jesse Dayton plays the broken spoke every week and is even flying back during the tour for his weekly gig.. you would think Austin would be on the list of mandatory cities..

That's what I'm saying.... The Mike Ness Band as always done Austin in the past and done well there for both shows that were there... Now I got to drive all the way to Houston for one night only to see them...

I live 3 hours from 2 tour cities in TX. I have to go to Dallas or Houston after work to see Mike on a Monday or Tuesesday night. I think i'll have to pass. 6 a.m comes pretty early,as they say in East Texas.

i'm a tad on the... say obsessive side... i'm taking the 3 hour trip down to NYC for one of the irving plaza shows (shooting it for Loud Fast Rules). expensive: yes, getting paid for the photography: no, worth skipping out on two days of work: fuck yeah

Saint of Circumstance, have you ever gone to BYO's Punk Rock Bowling in Vegas?? If not, you need to make it a point to do so next year. You can get a ton of great pics for the magazine. My ex-boyfriend shoots for Punk Rock Confidential, and he LOVES the photo- ops he gets there. Besides its a blast!!
I cant wait for the Hootenanny, its such a great line-up this year, and some of the same great bands that played in the line-up in '99 when Mike played solo.

I think there will be some HOB or Coach House shows coming up too....hopefully, the HOB. I'm not too crazy about the Coach House.

i have not made it out to vegas. we have punk rock kick ball out here in boston though lol i would love to be able to travel and shoot/write all over the place, but unfortunately i make little to no money doing it and most of the time it ends up costing me more then i get paid. but... i will be heading out to the hootenanny to shoot for LFR (and possibly car kulture deluxe if they return my email) and i'm psyched about that. first time at the hootenanny, first time in california.
